M Disk Gauntlet: Monster Hunter Freedom Unite

PART 1: ORIENTATION

PART 2: ACTUALLY MONSTER HUNTING

PART 2: ACTUALLY MONSTER HUNTING (NON-COMMENTARY VERSION)

This series is dedicated to my challenges of games that meet the criteria for apricotsushi's community game along (featured on chic-pixel.com)

For March 2018, the theme was #MonMonth. Guess there's no other excuse to try Monster Hunter for the first time ever, is there? So I chose to use Monster Hunter Freedom Unite emulated on PPSPP for my first journey into the series.

This is NOT a playthrough of the entire game. This challenge is me trying to get through all of the tutorials offered in the game right away.

There isn't any actual monster hunting here. Just me trying to understand the basics, while learning how to use a keyboard to control a PSP game.

Technical notes:
For some reason, the raw audio messed up in certain parts, which did not happen when I recorded the footage for part 1. It doesn't affect the commentary audio track though. But the raw audio problem did get fixed in the next part. That's why part 2 is the only one with a non-commentary version.

Some of the watermarks in both parts of the commentary version were not displayed properly. This problem got fixed for the non-commentary condensed version of part 2.
