Sonic CD Mega Shuffle ($10 US iTunes Gift Card Giveaway!)

In June, I will present the first ever "Mega Shuffle" edition of the M Disk Playlist. This episode will focus on both the original soundtrack, and the exclusive North American soundtrack for Sonic CD. A regular episode consists of me and a guest talking about a composer, or the music of a game series. A super shuffle episode consists of me highlighting ten tracks covering a specific theme. But what's a mega shuffle?

That's where you come in.

Further down this post is a survey. You will fill out the survey to help determine the perfect Sonic CD soundtrack. Which stages had the better BGM? Which release had the better vocal music? Would you rather have nightmares, or work that sucker to death in boss fights? The two different soundtracks have been a subject of debate for quite some time. But my purpose for this episode is to combine the best of both soundtracks into one single playlist (unless everyone overwhelmingly votes for either the original or North American soundtracks). Then, in June, I will highlight the Sonic CD soundtrack based on the poll results.

And to sweeten the deal, I'm going to hold a giveaway in honor of this first ever mega shuffle. If you're a Twitter user with access to a United States iTunes account, then all you have to do is the following:

1. Complete the survey.
2. Leave your Twitter name at the bottom of the survey.
3. RT THIS POST to your followers.

You do all that, and you will be entered for a chance to win a $10 United States iTunes gift card. Sorry rest of the world. I wish I had a prize for you. But this is the best I can do while trying to save money to move to a better place.

Create your own user feedback survey

No, not every single track from Sonic CD is in the survey like the bonus stage, the item collecting themes, and the stage clear themes. But you still get to choose which soundtrack had the best set of vocal tracks, the best boss theme, and the best level themes. And please note that the "past" versions of every level BGM is the same in both soundtracks.

Good luck to everyone! The survey will close on May 9th!
