While I'm preparing to record the Lunar episode, I want to take this time to announce what the next Super Shuffle episode will cover.
On July 11th, we lost president and CEO of Nintendo, Satoru Iwata. But he was more than just corporate titles. He was a man who would go above and beyond for the sake of gaming. His work ethic, and his approach to the development of video games have earned him respect from fans of games, people in the gaming industry itself. The tributes to Iwata have been nothing short of tear shedding. Just look at any one of the fan art tributes without feeling SOMETHING. My tribute to Iwata will be a Super Shuffle episode devoted to the man himself.
For those who don't remember (or didn't care about the last one), Super Shuffle episodes focus on ten music tracks that focus on a specific topic. Last time, it was battle themes. Now, the focus will be ten music tracks from games that Iwata has received some sort of credit on. Whether a programmer, or an executive producer, Iwata's influence on games he has worked on will always be felt. Now, there are A LOT of games to choose from, and even more music tracks to choose from. So ten tracks alone might not be enough.
So if you have any games or music tracks you'd like me to highlight, send them via e-mail, comment, or tweet. As long as Iwata has gotten any sort of credit for a game you may have in mind, it will count.
Not 100% sure when I'll be recording this episode, but it will definitely be sometime after the Lunar episode is recorded.
